SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE

Pound Cake


They are so many kinds, so many good kinds!  Funny thing is the one's you buy at the store. My Granddaddy Pope had a joke one to this day I will laugh about every time I see a pound cake.   He would say it is not a pound it is a 12 oz cake.  



















SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE...

Pre heat oven to 350.. Grease or spray bunt pan
  1. 2 sticks of margarine
  2. 3 cups of sugar
  3. 6 eggs
  4. 3 cups all purpose flour 
  5. 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  6. 8 oz Sour Cream
  7. 1/4 tsp salt
  8. 2 tsp vanilla

  • Mix margarine and sugar until creamy. 
  • Blend in eggs one at a time
  • Add one cup of flour and then 1/3 of the sour cream alter these until both are all in.
  • Blend in baking soda, salt, and vanilla
  • Pour into greased or sprayed bunt pan
  •  
Bake one hour and 10 minutes..
